Bronte offers a pleasant change of landscape, which keeps the lava as the main character but married to pistachio. The wilderness of these trees, in fact, let it grow between lava stones to give us golden gems rich of minerality and a unique taste, the taste of Sicily. Then a visit to a traditional baker shop that makes break with the mother yeast, and warms the oven by burning the pistachio shells by means of a special fire system. The final result is an unforgettable bread. Finally lunch will be at a typical trattoria where cooks or chefs ade mother and son. Everything here is homemade, from macaroni to the nettle frittelle, to the pistachio cake and ice cream. Lunch will be served with a selection of Etna Rosso.
